Spring Time!

I love spring so much.
Every time the sun shines after a few days of snow and rain I am instantly a happier person.
This picture I took of a baby succulent reminds me of spring time with new growth and bright colors.

  1. This is great! Wonderful! I have tried that with my 50mm and can not seem to get it to work. Any advice? Love it!

  2. Thank you! I have tried a few times and get a little better with practice. The first time I had no idea what to do and noting turned out. Most important is to switch your lens into manual aperture and turn it to around 1.8 to let most light in. Also because you are shooting so close it is important to have enough light and shoot at a fast shutter speed. Once you have your camera setting good to go just play around and see what comes out. The plane of focus is so small I would suggest taking many photos to ensure you will get one with the focus you want. Hope this helps!
