Sun and Snow

It has been getting warmer causing the icicles to melt and become a new fascination of mine. I have also been intrigued by the forms of the drifting snow, they are just so beautiful and organic.

For my photography class last semester, we put together a final portfolio consisting of eight pictures taken over the semester. I had a difficult time sorting through the thousands of photos I had taken to find eight, that a. worked together to form a cohesive set || b. also portrayed an emotion and drama within them

Winter Time

So Mother Nature finally decided it was time to snow yesterday. Just before sunset the sun also decided to shine and I experienced an intense need to photograph it! I ran around our house and about froze my fingers off but came back with some images that I quite enjoy.
